Contingency Fee

The last thing I want do as my client's lawyer is add to their financial burden. The contingency fee is the great equalizer. It allows any injured victim to have the best lawyer available, because the lawyer only gets paid if the case is successfully resolved. There is no fee unless the case is won so that there's no bills being sent; there's all the time in the world necessary to do a good job on the case without regard to whether or not the client has the ability to pay. So the client is able to have good legal representation up against enormous resources against them from the insurance company. And we are in this together, and we're in this to win.

I love that whole David and Goliath mentality of me representing someone who's not paying me unless and until I successfully conclude their case. So, I don't send bills to my clients. I send my clients a check upon the successful conclusion of the case, and I only get paid if I win.
